ACT-UAW Local 7902 represents over 4,000 part-time and adjunct faculty, student educators, and healthcare workers. It consists of four units:

🟣 Student Educators at The New School (SENS)
🟣 Healthcare Workers at The New School (SHENS)
NYU adjuncts and New School Part-Time Faculty units are bargaining new contracts this year. Your solidarity and engagement is crucial to winning a fair contract!
ACT stands for Academics Come Together and UAW stands for United Auto Workers. The 7902 refers to your union branch established on July 9th, 2002. That’s why it’s called 7-9-02. It’s the Local’s twentieth anniversary this year!
