As the expiration of our current contract with NYU on August 31st swiftly approaches, we need all hands on deck in order to get the word out about our 2022 contract campaign, and campaign website, www.nyuowesadjuncts.com. To that end, our NYU Adjunct Organizing Committee has designed a beautiful and eye-catching poster, “Adjuncts Unite!” (See image below). This poster contains a QR code that links to our campaign website- your source for bargaining updates, contract proposals, upcoming event info, helpful links, and more.
We need your help to make sure this poster is hung at all 145 adjunct offices and working spaces at NYU! We especially need volunteers from Steinhardt and SPS to hang posters.
Please join the NYU Adjunct Organizing Committee on Thursday, August 25th, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm for a special poster hanging event! We will gather in the Bobst Library lobby (70 Washington Square South) at 6pm and give you posters, campaign buttons, and stickers to distribute to adjunct offices near the Washington Square Park campus. At 7:15pm, we will reconvene for a social and pizza party at Vol de Nuit, a bar near the WSP campus (148 West 4th Street).

At Vol de Nuit, you’ll also get a bargaining update from one of our staff organizers. You can ask questions about our contract negotiations in an informal setting and find out how you can get involved with our 2022 contract campaign. Come for the union swag too! We’ll have buttons and stickers for all. Pizza will be provided by our local, and beer, wine, and soft drinks can be purchased at the bar.
