At close to 4 in the morning on Halloween night, hours after the previous contract had expired, your Bargaining Committee arrived at a Tentative Agreement (TA) with university administration. After seven months of bargaining, negotiations are now at an end. The proposed contract is currently undergoing a review process. Once concluded, the TA will be sent out to you for a ratification vote.

We will review the significant changes to compensation, health insurance, annuity plans, and reappointment, as well as brand new categories like administrative pay and COVID pay.
We will be sure to leave ample time in our town hall to answer your questions about the Tentative Agreement.
We will also discuss the process involved in a ratification vote and how you can help to ensure that a supermajority of members vote on this contract and stay organized moving forward. This 6-year contract is only the beginning and we will keep organizing the membership for the full term of the agreement. We aim to make our next contract another landmark one that revolutionizes contingent faculty employment nationwide. That organizing begins today and we want all of you to get involved!
